Datapanik is a music project of 3 people living in a shared student house in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. All songs are recorded with the use of inexpensive homerecording equipment. Most of the songs are live recordings and are written 'on-the-fly' without any rehearsals or preparations. The essence of Datapanik was having fun in making music in general. Enjoy listening to Unknown Questions.

The name Klaz* is derived from the name of Bijkian cosmonaut Kowax Laz. He was the first Bijkian to make far exploratory expeditions into space and he received all military honours which a person can get, because of his pioneering work with the Bijkian army. We feel like musical pioneers. With our music we not only want to appeal to the Bijkians on Bijk, but also to Bijkians on earth and to your people (who we want to introduce to Bijk with our music). Happy Elf is the name of multi instrumentalist Jeroen Elfferich's soloproject. He has released 8 albums since 1999. The music of Happy Elf can be labeled as electro, but actually it is much more than that: itÂs pop music made with analogue synthesizers. First Contact is a 4 track cd which gives you an idea of Happy ElfÂs music. The tracks are from the earlier albums Bright Normal Deep and Bingo in the Country. Summer had passed when poet Ruud Linssen and three musicians came together to see what they could do. In winter the quartet released their first album of music and poetry under the flag of Mellsch . These recordings were made at guitarist Marcel Jansen's retreat, an ancient farmhouse in the windswept marshlands of Waldfeucht on the German-Dutch border. There the work of Mellsch emerged over a long autumn weekend. Centuries-old shingles on the farmhouse roof rattled as Jansen, Linssen, Bego...

The best of Bob Chaos Recordings 1984-1986. Bob Chaos Records was a cassette-only label out of Muncie, Indiana USA. Between the years 1984-1988 a whopping 15 cassettes were released. With music spanning experimental to rock to just plain strange, "Bob" was way ahead of it's time... or at least in the wrong place at the right time. Instead of letting the tapes deteriorate in a mid-western closet, www.bobchaos.com came out to give the world's weirdos more stuff to listen to. After a...

Ever since René Vis [1959] heard music, deep in his heart he wanted to make it. But for many years severe bashfullness held him back. When he was about twenty he played around with a Korg MS20 and began to write songs. Except for some lo-fi tapes made at home, nothing else happened. When he was 35 René learned the basic chords on guitar, bought a second hand Yamaha QY20 and more songs were made. Still mostly unheard by others. Then he bought a pc and went on the Internet. And this is where...

Zeptosound are inspired by the transition from order to chaos, by the world being regular and known yet simultaneously deeply strange. Other people say we're classical, or new-age, or jazz/improvisational, but we don't really know. What we do know is that we like improvisation and randomness in our music and often feel we are on the edge of reaching something but the closer we get the further this something retreats into the darkness or the light. If we go too far towards it we'll kill it.

Our bio... We started recording as Fungky in september 2003. Then we had only a shabby deck ripped out of an old stereo, a p266 computer, sound blaster 16, bass guitar and an electric guitar. It took us two years to compile our first release. There are 19 tracks on it and it is a purely underground, mind twisting production. In september 2005 we started working seriously on our second release. We transformed Fungky to Kinetic Jane as it better spoke for the contents. By then we had a little...

Les Baudouins Morts existed between 1996 and 2000. They were a local cult band, with a strong following in the underground scene in and around the town of Leuven (Belgium). Their music, if that's what you want to call it, was just an excuse to promote radical leftwing protest, make sick jokes, criticize about everything and everyone walking the face of the planet and give everyone involved the opportunity to play his instrument to his own liking. 5 cologne-based improv-musicians try to do the impossible: to let go ..! To forget about their 60s to 90s influences as independent music-addicts as they were and try to do their sound. Someone said "Modern Free-Jazz". Someone said "Soundtrack-Scores". Fact is: It`s totally improvised, uncensored, no overdubs. It's done directly on CD. So go ahead and just blow your cool!

The Subhuman is the alter ego of Dutch singer/songwriter Stefan Breuer (1987). His music is all about songs. Stefan's been writing them since age 10 and has released them on various privately produced CDs. In 2002 he formed his own band, The Subhuman & The Holy Ghosts , to perform his songs with him, but Knowing is half the battle is 100% pure Stefan. WM Recordings is proud to present this new Dutch talent to the world!

Project "Sminky" consists of one person named Sminky. Who that is - a girl or a guy - we can't say exactly. Moreover, this person exists only within his/her music. Sminky's world exists only within the music: Sminky's space, Sminky's puppies, Sminky's planets, Sminky's glasses and wolves. And Sminky's wish is the only law in this universe. Sminky lives in the legendary land of Siberia next to a huge pine forest. In his/her childhood she (he?) sang in a local church-choir and theatre...

HAPPY ELF is a dutch independent recording artist. He makes his own kind of synthpop using analog synthesizers and drum computers. His music sounds like music from the 80ties of last century and brings back happy memories. HAPPY ELF does not use a computer but plays all his instruments himself. He started making music 30 years ago using the same synthesizers and drum computers, recording almost a track a week. HAPPY ELF also plays guitars and drums and performs with several bands in The...

On his privately released debut album Zoë muj (So tired) D'r Sjaak turned the rather traditionalist world of music from the Dutch province of Limburg into a lo-fi, experimental playground. And then D'r Sjaak moved on. His virtual single Meatje made waves on regional radio and in the national music press. "A strange and inventive mixture of Neue Deutsche Welle, hip hop, house and electropop", raved one magazine. D'r Sjaak is depressed, yet happy. Drunk, yet sober. Understated, yet...

The six tracks on “Lego Of Me” are about fantastical romantic visions – quixotic pursuit of love, obsession, inner peace through gender reassignment, futuristic old-fashioned entertainment, suburban sensuality, and ultimately, a honey-sweet afterlife where your favourite celebrities banter and put their harps through echo pedals.

According to the Britannica Concise Encyclopedia "modern numerology attaches a series of digits to an inquirer's name and uses these, along with the date of birth, to reveal the person's true nature and prospects (using a method analogous to that of the Greek and Hebrew alphabets in which each letter also represented a number)." It also says that "numerology is based on the assertion by Pythagoras that all things can be expressed in numerical terms, because they are ultimately...

Greg Houwer is a singer-songwriter whose style is firmly rooted in the pop/rock-tradition. He works with loving care from his home studio, where he assembles his songs, hovering somewhere between a state of peaceful tranquility and full blown exuberance. Roads Of Oblivion, a compilation of twelve songs recorded between 2002 and 2007, is a case in point expressing just that range of creativity.
